Fabio grew up in Arzignano, Italy’s leather capital, between his parents’ own tanneries, learning the craft from raw hide to finished leather long before he ever sold a piece of furniture to anyone. Yana, a graduate of Saint Petersburg University, brought her own background in luxury retail and a sharp eye for design. Their paths crossed abroad while Fabio was sourcing hides, and neither has looked back since that first conversation.
The two moved to the United States in the late nineties, building a business supplying Italian leather hides to American manufacturers, until much of that production shifted overseas. Rather than follow it, they built something more direct, a showroom dedicated entirely to Made in Italy furniture, with no agents standing between their clients and the factories they trust personally. After careful research into where to plant roots, they opened their Agoura Hills, California showroom in January 2015.
Today, Fabio works directly with manufacturers and tanneries in Italy, while Yana manages the showroom and every client relationship herself.
